3. Eligibility

Use the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws.
If you register on behalf of a company or group, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Keeping your credentials secure;
Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

All investments made through introductions or events organized by FirstLeg are done at your own risk.
We do not provide investment recommendations, due diligence, or financial guarantees.
Each investor and startup is responsible for conducting their own independent evaluation before engaging in any financial transaction.

7. Event Participation

FirstLeg may organize online or offline pitching events, meetups, or educational sessions. We reserve the right to select or decline participants at our discretion.
By participating, you grant us permission to record, photograph, and use event content (images, videos, quotes) for promotional purposes unless you notify us in writing before the event.

8. Fees & Payments

Certain services (e.g., event participation, memberships, or premium access) may involve fees.
All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, graphics, and materials on FirstLeg are owned by or licensed to us.
You may not copy, modify, or use them without prior written consent.
However, you retain ownership of any original content you submit to the Platform (e.g., pitch decks, profiles), granting us a limited license to display and promote it.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FirstLeg and its affiliates are not liable for:

Any loss of profits, data, or goodwill;
Any damages arising from user actions, investment outcomes, or technical issues.
The Platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful or fraudulent behavior.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after such changes means you accept the new Terms.
